Supports the council's commitment to be carbon neutral by 2025 (own operations), so the fleet needs to reduce emissions by 30%; RCVs are half of the fleet's footprint (48%), therefore there is a need to decarbonise as soon as possible.

The analysis has informed the implementation of Wiltshire Council’s fleet strategy.

The project focused on replacing two aging 134-kW oil-fired boilers, as they were inefficient, costly, and nearing end of life.
