Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) agreements are a financing delivery model that combines not only hardware and software but also services.
The EaaS approach shifts from asset-focused, centralised power generation and the sale of it to passive consumers towards end-to-end management of a customer’s energy assets and services, with much greater flexibility. For a local authority, it offers the opportunity to outsource non-core services to a private sector service provider.
Designed to aid Local Authorities in developing robust, evidence-based plans to enable Net Zero.
