This dataset provides an estimate of existing energy demands for all domestic buildings in Great Britain in relation to hot water demand, the type of heating system, fuel for heating and hot water, and an estimate of appliance and lighting demand. Incorporating data from Scotland’s EPC dataset, adjusting for geographical variations, and using ESC’s EPC and Building Characteristics Dataset, demands are calculated based on the established Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) methodology.
