This webinar shares learning from the Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD) programme. It focuses on how the retrofit sector can work together for better outcomes.
Through the LEAD (Local Energy Advice Demonstrator) programme, which closed on 31 March 2025, the South West Net Zero Hub worked with six projects to create a shared learning toolkit of resources aimed at local authorities, community energy groups, and advice organisations.
The aim of the local energy advice pilots was to trial different ways to deliver in-person advice and explore their effectiveness. They wanted to gain a better understanding of the advice requirements of different consumer groups and across different housing archetypes, with a particular focus on harder-to-treat properties and digitally excluded consumer groups.
As part of the programme, the South West Net Zero Hub created a webinar series entitled ‘Innovations in Domestic Retrofit‘, providing case studies and learning from the projects. Their accompanying PowerPoint presentations can also be viewed.
