The general process to install EVI and considerations the LAs should make to ensure a smooth installation process from site selection to going live.

Grid Connections

The process of deploying Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) involves identifying potential sites, conducting initial assessments and site surveys.  Following this, the site design will need to be defined with key parameters such as site layout, number of chargepoints, chargepoint types, chargepoint power and any supporting technology being made clear in the specification.
