In addition to being able to help with financing specific projects, the Midlands Net Zero Hub has an excellent track record of securing funding for the region across a range of schemes.

• Regional retrofit: The Midlands Net Zero Hub has secured funding to assist local authorities to improve the energy efficiency of domestic properties in the region.
• Community energy: We have supported 35 community groups in the region to receive funding for their local energy projects.
• Public sector decarbonisation: We’re working with public sector organisations to help them unlock the finance needed to reduce the carbon footprint of their estates.

• Skills training competitions: We awarded funding to 18 providers across England to deliver training courses to upskill the workforce to deliver low carbon retrofit projects.
• Minimum energy efficiency standards: The Midlands Net Zero Hub supported local authorities in England and Wales to enforce energy efficiency standards in the private rented sector.
