I wish I had this kind of resource maybe 20 years ago, it would have been a lot easier because I would have been able to look through all kinds of projects and other people’s learnings.
None of us come from technical backgrounds in engineering or construction, so it can sometimes be tricky to figure out what level of knowledge we actually need. I think that’s where Net Zero Go really helps, by looking at technical expertise but presenting it in a way that’s accessible for people like us who don’t have that background.

We want to help officers who are long on ambition, but short on resource, and give them the skills to quickly and easily decarbonise the energy used in their buildings and sites.

Net Zero Go is free and available for all UK local authority teams and Net Zero Hubs working on local energy and Net Zero energy projects, from renewable energy generation to heat, from transport to building decarbonisation, and more.
Net Zero Go contains sensitive information such as case studies, step-by-step guides, and a discussion Forum which are exclusive for UK local authorities. Signing up also helps us show you what you’re most interested in.
