Cenex has worked over many years with councils, companies, charities, and countries to deliver evidence-based advice, guidance, and support.

The National EV Insight and Support (NEVIS) service grew out of a desire to see more organisations supported with reliable, independent, up-to-date information on electric vehicles (EVs) and EV infrastructure (EVI).

Today, NEVIS supplies local authorities, consultancies, chargepoint operators, and academic institutions with easily-accessible data, maps, and modelling.

Users

As part of our role in the LEVI Fund Support Body, alongside the Energy Saving Trust and PA Consulting, this service is available to all English local authorities free of charge.

Local authorities from Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland can join for a one-off annual fee, or bulk licence via their devolved administration.

All other organisations access a bespoke data dashboard containing information and insights specific to your organisation's needs.

Access

Access is available via your organisation's domain. Whilst the Insights Toolkit provides local authority-specific information, all other aspects of the service are general and applicable across the country.
